She took a Diploma course in Diabetes Studies at the Institute for Studies on Diabetes Foundation Inc. She is currently the Chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine and the Clinical Head of the Clinical Nutrition Management Services of Manila Doctors Hospital. Dr. Quizon presently holds several positions in different organizations - Secretary of the Philippine Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (PhilSPEN), Board member and Secretary of the Philippine College of Medical Nutrition Physicians, Board Member of the Institute for Studies on Diabetes Foundation and Vice President of the Philippine Consortium of Diabetes Clinics and Clubs Inc. She is part of the training committee of the Medical Nutrition Fellowship Training Program of St Luke’s Medical Center and a Faculty Member of the Institute for Studies on Diabetes Foundation Inc. She’s a member of American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) and European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) and is an ESPEN-Certified Life Long Learning (LLL) teacher. She is a fellow of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians and the Philippine College of Medical Nutrition Physicians.
