Osman AbbasogluProf. Dr. Turkish Society of Enteral and Parenteral NutritionDr. Osman Abbasoğlu is a Professor of Surgery. He was born in Ankara and received an M.D. degree from the Hacettepe University in 1984. His general surgery training was conducted at the same university. He completed a clinical transplantation fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas. He served as the Director of Nutrition Support Team of Hacettepe University between 1997-2010 and Director of Clinical Nutrition Master’s Degree Program. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and 12 book chapters mainly on nutrition and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery. He is currently associate editor in Clinical Nutrition. He was the president of Turkish Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition Society (KEPAN) between 2019-2021 and currently president of Adriatic Club of Clinical Nutrition.
