He is the former president of the Philippine Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (PhilSPEN) and currently serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Philippine College of Medical Nutrition Physicians (PCMNP). He is a member of the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) and faculty of the ESPEN Life Long Learning (LLL) Course, a member of the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) and also a member of The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). Dr. Sinamban is the current head of the Division of Surgical Nutrition at St. Luke’s Medical Center Quezon City, and the assistant head of the Clinical Nutrition of the Weight Intervention and Nutrition Services (WINS) at St. Luke’s Medical Center Global City. He is also a Co-Chairman of the Nutrition Management Team and member of the Metabolic Monitoring Team of the Makati Medical Center. Aside from Surgical Nutrition, his other field of expertise is in Critical Care Surgery. He completed fellowship training in Trauma and Critical Care at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
