I am now working as a consultant Clinical Nutrition Physician at Apeksha Hospital Maharagama (National Cancer Institute).
I was undergoing the in-service MTI Royal College of Physician Edinburgh Sponsored training (01/09/2021-31/08/2022) at the Intestinal Failure unit, Bariatric and medical weight management, and Nutrition Support Team at Salford Royal NHS Trust.
Previously, postgraduate training in Clinical Nutrition was conducted by the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka (1/2/2018-15/4/2021) while being a full-time permanent employee of the Ministry of Health Sri Lanka.
As the consultant Nutrition Physician at National Cancer Institute Sri Lanka, I am nutrition team leader Concerning clinical decision-making, attending to decision-making, solving problems, and team leading involving all the nutrition team members.
