She is passionate about the proper and full implementation of the nutrition care process in the Philippine hospital using a multidisciplinary approach to improve nutrition care and prevent and treat hospital or disease-related malnutrition. She assisted several hospitals in the Philippines in setting up their nutrition support teams which supervise implementation of nutrition support to all high-risk patients. She is actively involved in research on quality improvement and safety of nutrition management, validation, and improvement of nutrition assessment tools in the hospital for pediatrics, adult patients, maternal nutrition for high-risk patients, chronic kidney disease and cancer nutrition, and MAFLD in children and adults with metabolic syndrome. 1.
